Drum Kits With Lug Type 924
The second lug design on STAR drum kits, which appeared at the end of the 60’s first. At some point
Star used also a second version of this 924 lug, which has a small chrome ridge around the base
(not shown in the photo above). Latest entries of photos: On the top of this page.

Extraordinary Star kit from the early 70’s, in Blue Satin Flame, with an 18” bass drum/ 12” / 14” (Toshihiko, Tokyo, Japan)

Remarks: Most probably this is an one-of-a-kind prototype bass drum made by Star, with it’s diameter of 18” only
